Sheriff’s
Community Oriented Policing Services Bureau to Conduct Surveys
From
staff reports
On
Saturday, June 28, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department
Community Oriented Policing (COPS) Bureau in conjunction with the Compton
Station Special Assignment Team will be conducting a survey of residents’ concerns
regarding crime, law enforcement services and quality-of-life issues
for the community of Rosewood and neighboring areas.
The surveys will allow the community to express their concerns regarding
quality-of-life issues in the area. Participation in the survey will
be voluntary and confidential. Names and contact phone numbers will
be collected for follow-up purposes and will remain secured for the
Sheriff’s Department’s use only. The door-to-door surveys
should only take a few minutes of your time. Participation will greatly
be appreciated. The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department is committed
to serving the needs and concerns of the communities of Rosewood and
it’s surrounding areas.
Deputies will be conducting surveys and contacting residents between
142nd and 139th streets. Additionally, surveys will be conducted on
Hillford, Zamora, Parmelee, Albertson, Nestor, Kalsman, Evers, Tajauta
and Northwood avenues as well as 140th and 141st streets north of Rosecrans.
