From staff reports

LOS ANGELES – The 3rd Annual ‘Old Skool’ Barbeque took place in South Los Angeles Sunday, Aug. 24. Now one of the summer’s most anticipated events for Los Angeles’ Black gay community, this year’s event drew an estimated 150 attendees including gospel and blues legend Linda Hopkins and benefited Los Angeles’ Black lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community by donating all of the proceeds to an upcoming town hall meeting on the state of Black gay Los Angeles.
