stunning array of fireworks graces the sky at Compton Civic Center
following last week’s lighting of the city’s Christmas
tree.
The city of Compton held its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony
last Thursday night at the Compton Civic Center. Children’s
choirs from Emerson Elementary and Our Lady of Victory, the Compton
Children’s Choir and a city employee a capella group sang songs
full of holiday cheer before city officials lit the Christmas tree,
triggering a stunning array of fireworks. R&B singer Kenny Lattimore
rounded out the event with a special performance.
