Councilman
Hall to Host Grand Opening of Assembly Campaign Headquarters
From
staff reports
Compton City
Councilman Isadore Hall, who is running for a seat in the state Assembly,
will host the grand opening of his campaign headquarters this Saturday,
April 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 217 E. Compton Blvd.
Attendees will have a chance to meet the candidate, learn how to get
involved in his bid for the 52nd District assembly seat and hear from
a range of supporters including Mayor Eric J. Perrodin, fellow Compton
city council members, Congresswoman Laura Richardson and a host of
other state elected officials.
Included in that list is current 52nd District Assemblyman Mervyn Dymally,
who recently announced his official endorsement of Hall.
Dymally, who has collaborated on a number of issues with Hall, released
a statement saying “my decision to support Councilman Hall was
not a difficult one; however, it was a well thought out and careful
decision.”
Upon learning the news of this endorsement Hall stated, “Enough
can’t be said about Mervyn Dymally. He has worked tirelessly
for the people of this great city for many, many years. It means a
great deal to know that he entrusts all that he has tried to accomplish
for this district with me.”
