COMPTON—The LA84 Foundation awarded a $76,200 grant to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Foundation last week, which will benefit the Compton Youth Activities League. The money will provide a significant upgrade for the facility, and a mini soccer field and basketball courts are planned.
