COMPTON—The resignation of interim City Manager Lamont Ewell brought an onslaught of residents to the City Council meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 17, and all expressed their displeasure with the decision, while trying to convince him to stay. The comments attacked Mayor Eric J. Perrodin and the Council.
